Shipping & Delivery Policy
Effective Date: May 2026
Foshan Jingheng Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (jinghengmachinery.com) is committed to delivering your custom industrial rollers safely and efficiently to your facility anywhere in the world. Due to the heavy and industrial nature of our products, our shipping procedures are specialized. Please review our shipping policy below.
1. Production Lead Time vs. Transit Time Please note that “Shipping Time” is distinct from “Production Lead Time.”
- Production Lead Time: The time required to manufacture your custom rollers (typically 15-30 days, depending on the complexity and order volume). Production begins only after the Proforma Invoice (PI) and technical drawings are confirmed, and the deposit is received.
- Transit Time: The time it takes for the finished goods to travel from our factory in Foshan, China, to your designated destination.
2. International Shipping Methods We offer several shipping options to balance cost and urgency. The chosen method will be detailed in your final quotation:
- Sea Freight (FCL/LCL): The most cost-effective method for bulk or heavy orders. Transit times typically range from 15 to 45 days, depending on the destination port.
- Air Freight: Recommended for urgent, smaller, or high-value precision rollers. Transit times are typically 5 to 10 days.
- International Express (DHL, FedEx, UPS): Suitable for sample orders or very small replacement parts. Delivery is usually within 3 to 7 working days.
3. Incoterms (Trade Terms) Our international shipments are strictly governed by the Incoterms 2020 agreed upon during the quotation phase. Common terms include:
- EXW (Ex Works): The Buyer is responsible for arranging all transportation, export clearance, and insurance from our factory floor.
- FOB (Free On Board): We handle the transportation and export customs clearance to the specified port in China (e.g., Guangzhou or Shenzhen). The Buyer assumes responsibility and costs from that point onward.
- CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight): We cover the cost of sea freight and basic marine insurance to the Buyer’s destination port. Note: Import customs clearance and local duties are still the Buyer’s responsibility.
4. Customs Duties, Taxes, and Import Clearance Unless specifically agreed upon as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), the Buyer is solely responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and local handling charges imposed by the destination country’s government. We will provide all necessary commercial invoices, packing lists, and origin certificates to assist your local customs broker.
5. Packaging Standards Industrial rollers are heavy and susceptible to surface damage. We utilize robust, export-grade packaging:
- Rollers are typically wrapped in protective anti-rust paper or plastic film.
- They are then securely fastened within sturdy, fumigation-free wooden crates or steel pallets designed to withstand long-distance international transit.
6. Tracking and Documentation Once your order departs our facility, our logistics team will provide you with the relevant tracking numbers (for express/air freight) or the Bill of Lading (B/L) and shipping advice (for sea freight) so you can monitor the shipment’s progress.
7. Receiving and Inspection
- Upon arrival at your facility, please inspect the external packaging immediately before signing the delivery receipt.
- If you observe significant damage to the wooden crates, you must note the damage on the delivery document, take clear photographs, and notify us and the carrier within 3 business days. (Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for detailed claims procedures).
